A few years ago, I came across a picture of Annecy, France on Pinterest. I thought, what a cute town, never thinking I would actually one day visit this small town in Southeastern France. Once arriving, I felt very content. There aren’t too many tourists and the well-preserved historic streets made me feel like I was in a fairytale book. Although I wasn’t here too long, only a few days, I really felt like I was able to soak in as much of the culture in Annecy. The food was delicious mix between traditional French and Swiss food, as Annecy used to be owned by Switzerland. Additionally, aside from the center town, the famous Lac du Annecy is only a few miles away. There, I was able to enjoy paddle boarding on a crystal clear lake and paragliding on top of the alps.

I hope to return when I’m older and maybe stay for a longer time, to just be able to relax.
